Bishop Gorman High School was founded in 1954 by the Clerics of St. Viator and moved to a new campus in 2007. With an enrollment of about 1500 students Bishop Gorman is the only Catholic High School in Southern Nevada.
Academics: As a college preparatory school, Bishop Gorman has a 98% college bound rate. The Class of 2017 boasts three National Merit Scholarship Finalists, three National Merit Scholarship Commended Students, five Gold Key Award Winners, and was awarded over $27 million in scholarships.
Athletics: Bishop Gorman is the home of Gaels and has a rich tradition of athletic excellence with over 100 State Championships in our 60+ year history. The Class of 2017 also had 44 seniors receiving athletic scholarships to play at the college level.
Activities: Bishop Gorman offers a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs and activities with over 40% of students participating in a school organization there is something for everyone.
Fine and Performing Arts: Not only are a variety of fine art classes offered through our curriculum but also the Bishop Gorman thespians have been Theatre State Champions 7 years in a row and put on a spring musical as well as various other concerts and performances throughout the year.
